I read the Rick Andersen's blog: Away from Icebergs. He says it can be a disaster when a profession fails to acknowledge and adopt to radical, fundamental change in the marketplace. I totally agree with him.
I also read Dr. Wendy Schultz's blog:To a temporary place in time. She describes the librarians are people with a understanding of the documents the compile and catalog, and the relationships among those documents. I think that is the fundamental and core knowledge with services. This situation will be changed, Dr. Schultz says, from web 3D to library 3D services even library 4.0. I don't know if all of those will really happen soon but I think the library 3D services is on the way.
